How It Works
Claude Running Coach is a plugin for Claude Code and Claude Desktop that extends Claude's capabilities with running-specific knowledge and tools.
Example Conversation
You: "Create a 12-week half marathon training plan. My race is on March 15th, I'm currently running 25 miles per week, and my goal is to finish in 1:35:00."
Claude: Generates a complete training plan with calculated pace zones, weekly mileage progression, and specific workouts.
You: "Sync my last week of training from Strava"
Claude: Downloads your activities and creates a training log with weekly totals and workout analysis.
You: "Coach me on this week"
Claude: Compares your actual training against the plan, analyzes your performance, and provides coaching feedback.
Setup
You'll need:
- Claude Code or Claude Desktop - Free AI assistant app
- Python 3.8+ - For pace calculations (likely already installed)
- Training data - From Strava, other apps, or manual entry
